Why does my book cover year/dates not match the content inside?

The text you see on the cover (title/subtitle) is independent from the content inside the book.

That means:

  • Changing the title to “2025” (or “2024”) does not change the time range of posts/photos printed inside.
  • The cover text is simply a label—you can write any text you want there (a year, a name, a phrase, etc.), whether or not it matches the interior.

How to fix the inside content (time range)

To ensure the book content matches the year you want:

  1. Go to your book list and click Edit (pencil icon) to open the editor.
  2. Find the date range selection (date picker).
  3. Set the correct start and end dates (example: Jan 1, 2025 – Dec 31, 2025).
  4. Save by clicking Add to Cart (you can keep editing later if needed).

How to fix the cover text

If the inside is already correct but the year printed on the cover is wrong:

  1. Open the editor (pencil icon).
  2. Update the title/subtitle on the cover to the correct year (or any wording you prefer).
  3. Save your changes.

Good to know

  • You can put any wording on the cover (including dates, quotes, or titles).
  • The only way to change what prints inside is to update the date range and/or selections in Edit Content.
