Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?

If you're outside the USA or Europe, your local customs authority may charge import duties or taxes. These charges are not from us — they depend on your country’s laws. Please check with your local customs office for more details.

When you order internationally, your country may charge import VAT, duties, and/or courier clearance (brokerage) fees. These charges are set by local authorities and collected by the carrier (e.g., UPS or FedEx) on import. They are not paid to My Social Book and are not included in our shipping fee. We can't even predict whether your country will charge them.

Because import rules and enforcement can change over time, you may be charged on a new order even if you were not charged on previous orders. For example, UK customers may see these charges more often post-Brexit on shipments arriving from the EU.

We ship worldwide and orders are produced/fulfilled through our facilities in the Netherlands or the US depending on destination and production routing.
