  • How can I edit my book?
After clicking Create a Book, select your source (Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox). • How do I remove posts I don’t want in the book?
In the editor, click the “Edit Content” button. You’ll see all the posts that will be printed. Just uncheck any item you don’t want to include.Popular
  • Why are some pictures missing from my book?
A few reasons: • We can only print content you personally posted (not tagged photos or friend uploads). • The photo may be outside your selected date range. • Sometimes, Facebook doesn’t provide 100% of your data due to privacy settings or API issues. If you’re missing something important, email help@mysocialbook.com with a screenshot of the missing post on your Social Media account— we’ll look into it.Popular
  • How can I add photos to my book?
Your book includes all content available within the selected date range. To add a photo: • For Facebook books: upload the photo to Facebook and set the correct date. • For Instagram books: upload the photo to your Instagram feed (must be a Business or Creator account). Make sure the time range includes the new photo. • For Dropbox: upload the images and select them in the editor.Popular
  • Why are there duplicate pictures in my book?
If photos appear more than once in your book, it’s likely because they’re duplicated in your original social media source — we retrieve everything, but we can’t automatically filter out duplicates for you. Facebook often places the same photo in multiple albums (like “Profile Pictures,” “Cover Photos,” and “Mobile Uploads”). To remove duplicates before ordering: • Use the Edit Content button to uncheck specific photos • Remove full albums if needed • Or delete duplicates directly from FacePopular
  • How do I print only photos in my book?
If you want to print only specific Facebook albums, click here and select the ones you want. To remove written posts from a timeline book, use the “Choose Content” option during book creation to uncheck statuses, wall messages, and articles. Some readers
  • Why are there blank pages in my book?
Blank pages can appear for layout reasons: • Each new chapter (month) starts on a left page, which may leave a blank right page • Layout spacing is added to improve flow and readability What you can try: Try changing the photo size options in the editor (different sizes can reduce white space). Reduce your date range or remove specific content to allow the layout to reflow. At the moment, you can’t manually “drag-and-drop” photos to fully redesign pages, but you can adjust inputs (sizeSome readers
  • How can I reduce the number of pages in my book?
If your book is too long (over 500 pages), you can reduce the page count by: • Shortening the date range • Removing content in the “Edit Content” section during book creationSome readers
  • How do I switch between Facebook accounts?
If you’re getting a Facebook permissions/login issue or need to use a different Facebook account, the best workaround is to start a fresh login session: Open an Incognito/Private window (this prevents the site from reusing the previous Facebook login). Then open My Social Book again in that private window and connect the correct Facebook account. Quick shortcuts: Windows: CTRL + SHIFT + N (Chrome/Opera) or CTRL + SHIFT + P (Firefox/Edge) Mac: ⌘ + SHIFT + N (ChromeSome readers
  • How can I change the cover photo?
To change your front cover photo, you need to be in the Book Editor (not just the preview/flip view). Open your book and click Edit to enter the editor. On the cover page, tap/click directly on the cover image to replace it. Choose the new photo from the available photos for your book. On mobile: the editor works on phones, but if the page won’t “turn,” you’re likely in preview mode. Go back and make sure you’re in Edit (editor) and then tap the cover photo. TipFew readers
  • How do I create an Instagram Book?
To create an Instagram book, your account needs to be a Professional account (Business or Creator). It’s quick to switch, and you can always switch back later — just wait until your book is delivered. Here’s how it works: 1. Go to our editor and select Instagram as your content source. 2. Instagram will ask you to switch to a Professional account — choose either Creator or Business.Few readers

  • Can I move photos around or edit the page layout?
The layout is automatically generated to keep photos in chronological order and to balance photo sizes/quality. At the moment, you can’t manually move photos around, drag and drop, or redesign individual pages. What you can do: Remove specific photos/posts using Edit Content Try different photo size settings Adjust the date range so the layout rebuilds with a better flowFew readers
  • Can I delete the table of contents or chapter pages?
The table of contents and chapter breaks are part of the preset layout, so they can’t be manually removed page-by-page. If you prefer a simpler book with fewer “structure” pages, choose a photo-focused book type (for example, the Square Book).Few readers
  • How do I refresh my book to include new Facebook photos/posts?
If you added new photos/posts on Facebook and they’re not showing in your current book, you can force the book to refresh: Open your book and go to the Book Editor Click Empty Cache (this forces a fresh fetch of your content) Recheck your date range and content list Tip: If you’re on the collection page first, click Edit to enter the editor, then use Empty Cache there.Few readers
